Budget Tracker is a responsive web app for people who want a clearer record of spending, income, transfers, accounts and supporting documents. It is designed around day-to-day use: add a transaction manually, capture a bank statement, attach a receipt, review reports and keep a backup you control.

Capture and review bank statements

The Capture workflow can scan an uploaded statement or photo, show detected amounts on the statement preview, let you choose the entries you actually want, then guide you through classification, dates and categories before anything is saved. You stay in control of what becomes a transaction.

Local-first records with optional encrypted Cloud Sync

Your working records are kept in the app on your device. If you choose to enable Cloud Sync, supported data is encrypted on the device before transfer. Large receipts and invoices are synchronized as encrypted attachments so later syncs do not have to upload the same files repeatedly.

Backup is still important

Cloud Sync and manual backup solve different problems. A manual full backup is designed to be self-contained for recovery and portability, while Cloud Sync helps trusted devices stay current. Budget Tracker keeps both options available so users are not forced into a single recovery method.

Built for phone, tablet and desktop

The same app adapts to touch and mouse input. Forms, modals, Capture review and reporting layouts are designed to remain usable across smaller phones, tablets and larger desktop screens.
